- 9 nights of boisterous frogs, cries from forlorn birds, chatty lorikeets, mating geckos! We have enjoyed our Christmas in the Daintree more than we could have imagined - family, food, fun in nature. The place is magical. We have been blessed.

- The benchmark has risen. This place offers more than one can describe. From wading in the pool watching the birds fly by and sing their daily conversations to the visual beauty of the mist over the rainforest itself, this is truly a paradise. - This place is heavenly! Apart from the natural magnificence of the waterfalls, landscape, gorgeous terraced gardens, creeks and pools, rainforest and wildlife, this would have to be one of the most comfortable houses to have stayed in (and beautifully appointed). - After all the hustle and bustle of our wedding, this was the perfect place for our honeymoon - peaceful and relaxing, whilst still offering plenty to see and do. - Perfection, serene, blissful - all words that only tantalisingly suggest the amazing property that is “Tranquility on the Daintree”. From the whispers of the wind through the forest, to the babbling and roaring of the falls, this is a superb location! Our children loved the cool water ponds and pestering the geckos as they scampered about the house. If life permits, we will return and may all future guests enjoy their stay here as much as we did.
